Tamas Fazekas is an experienced lecturer of economics and accounting. He has experience in teaching Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Business Statistics and Economics from introductory to advanced level courses. Tamas also works as an accountant.
Tamas experience includes working with international students, which he values and enjoys. He believes the need for teaching excellence involves high standards not only in the content of the course, but also in how well it is run.
Currently, Tamas is working on his PhD thesis on ‘how to use macroeconomics model-building techniques to explain about changes in property prices in Sydney.’ Tamas prefers interactive classes to draw on student experiences and I am always keen to learn of students’ interests early so the cases and examples used can be tailored to the particular class, as well as to current news stories and events, including cultural ones.
